Chinese Visa application in Australia

Since an agency was set up by Chinese Embassy application fees are too expensive. The agency charges A$30 for a standard application ie 4 day approval. Payment to consulate is $60. Total fee is nearly $90.. In Malaysia, the same visa cost only RM85..( about A$30 ). The Chinese govt needs to explain this discrepancy. Is this agency privately set up to make monies for some individuals or political leaders corruptly to make money ?

Do you know how much Australia charges to Chinese for their visa? There is probably where you'll find your answer. This is all about reciprocity.

I just checked, you are getting quite a bargain compared to what Chinese need to pay. Plus the average income is lower in China, making it effectively even more expensive.

Indeed. The Australian government should explain why this is so.
