Trips to Zanzibar

Arriving Mombasa 24th Feb. Would like to arrange to go to Zanzibar for a day or two. Has anyone done this and can advise? Or, are there any companies who offer these trips.

Are you asking about going by boat from Mombasa to Zanzibar, by air from MSA to ZNZ or by road to Dar and then by ferry over? If you're driven there (to Dar) it only takes a few hours. You'll have to get separate visas.

Whether fly (via NBO) or drive (long) and ferry from Mombasa to Zanzibar - besides another Visa for Tanzania you

Your initial Kenya visa will allow you re-entry once finished on Zanzibar.

Hi ,

First things first , there are no speed boats services from Mombasa to Zanzibar.

The only way is to fly ( save time if a short break ).

Otherwise as suggested , by road to Dar-es-salaam and then ferry to Zanzibar.

Fly 540 have some good offers for flights to Zanzibar from Mombasa.

Alternatively , there is Precision Air or Kenya Airways.

As for the the tour companies , log on to www.katokenya.org

Hope this helps.
