dinner near airport again..

I should have said in my last post that the cost of the meal is not a big issue - we would in fact prefer a mid to upmarket place. Our objection to the cost of the travel company's quote was that they wanted £115 just for the car and driver...

Half of that amount should be enough. Panari is a five star and you dont risk with the heavy traffic.

That price is robbery! I answered your earlier thread. Go to the Panari.

There are the Mediterraneo (Italian) restaurants, but those are way in town/surbur of Karen and if there's traffic can be a horror just to get. The Serena Hotel has a great sit-down (vs buffet) restaurant, but maybe not for children.

Thanks for advice. Thought the price was robbery!

Will keep Serena in mind. Our kids are not that young and well used to eating in sit down meals in upmarket restaurants.

Others on this forum have recommended the Redcourt, which is also on the Airport side of town, but seems less pricey than the Panari. There is a website. (It is the Red Cross Hotel.)
