Cruise Ship Boarding Times

Does anyone know if there is an actual time when passengers are allowed to board? Or can you just turn up deposit suitcases, and return a little later?

We have to check out of the Nile Palace at 12 noon, and hoped to go straight to the MS RA II via a transfer. However, the tour company seem to think we may not be able to board at this time?

We will be there next week..

Hi Pete,

Was hoping someone had answered by now. Can't tell u about the RA11. We were on the PNC Commodore but boarded later & straight on. We left about 12 noon. From what we saw, luggage of new passengers was left by the ship & taken on by staff. Saw these passengers boarding & having a look around the ship but couldn't say whether they were able to go to their cabins or not. Didn't notice anyone being refused entry to the ship. At the end of the cruise it was a mix of people waiting to leave & people just arriving.

You may not be able to check into your rooms as they have to clean all the cabins. However you should be able to get onto the boat, deposit your bags and check in and then be free to wander off til your cabin is ready. Make sure that your bags have your cabin number attached to them before you go wandering off though!
