There's always hope, suebovington, always hope.

A date people visiting now or soon should probably keep in mind is November 19, the 2 year anniversary of the Mohamed Mahmoud clashes, and a minor repeat on the anniversary last year. There's some talk of a Tahrir pro-government protest. Can you say that? Pro government protest? Anyway, a rally perhaps.

Party popper! ;)

No, Khaledmh is right, please don't take my posting this stuff as cause to stay out past 1am tonight, should have said that originally. Supposedly the army says they will continue to enforce until receiving a pronouncement from the prime minister, after he gets official notice from the court, or something equally kafkaesque.

The BBC website states : However, a cabinet statement then said Cairo was still waiting for the text of the ruling before implementing it.

I haven't heard that this has happened yet. Anyone had an update or are we still waiting? I know anything in any government takes an age.

Unofficially it should be over today. They should announce that today. I am sure once they do, it will be posted all over Egypt forums.

Bizubt. With no disrespect (or little, anyway) this is like the perfect microcosm of Egyptian governance these days....Each part of the government saying something different and the public having no idea what's really going on.
