After visiting pyramids, sphynx, cairo museum and citadel on the sat and sun. we will have a few hours to fill on the mon before we fly to luxor.
What to do ? we where wondering if there was a bazar anywhere close to Le Mereidian Pyramids that we could go to.
If not any ideas?

Khan el Khallili is the Old Bazaar of Cairo; it's quite "crazy" in some ways & you must be prepared to haggle hard.
If you put the name in the search engine or google it, you'll find old threads about it & info on google.

Coptic also called Old Cairo is very nice and would make a nice aftenoon. The metro lets you off at Mgr Girgis, the main entrance.
Unfortunately there is nothing of any interest near Le Mereidian Pyramids, except the Pyramids of course !
As mentioned above the Khan Khalili Market area is a good place to go, and Old/Coptic Cairo does not take long to visit. The main problem for you will be the time it takes to get from the Pyramids/Giza area.

If we taxi, to either of these how long are we talking?? If the traveling is too far will just chill out around pool instead.
