Open air youth performances like in dramas?

Wondering if anyone knows about the open air youth performances. I think I've seen it in a few dramas previously, like a bunch of youth just playing music in the middle of some district, and lots of people go there. For e.g. in Gentleman's dignity, there is this place where jang dong gun's son in the drama went to this area to sing, to get money. And in Love Rain, there is this scene where Chang Mo's nephew was road busking. I think these 2 are the same places? And in Dream High 2, there's this place where Yoo Jin did his rock performances at night.

Anyone knows where these places are? Is it usually that crowded? Is there like a timetable for the performers?

I Think you talk about HongDae Noritor area. It's a front of Hong ik University.

(Noritor Means Playground in korean)

Yes, It's always crowded., especially at night.

There are many clubs, bars. restaurants and performers.

There's no set timetable. The performers randomly perform.
