wet season

i am planning a trip to Myanmar for 10 days at the beginning of July. Has anyone been there at that time - and if so, how has the wet season affected your travels? Should I expect rain all day - or is it more heavy downpours morning and afternoons?

You should expect the rain for many days, however, it does not pour all day long but interupted sometimes.

The only thing you should not take is some bus ride from one place to another such as Bagan to Inle Lake.

Can give you averages for all the towns you could visit.

You can change the town overview by using the feature in blue "Myanmar" at the foot of the page.
