Just had the trip of a lifetime in amazing Solomon Islands on board SvChemistry ( a 60ft. Catamaran ) with Gavin and Luciana.
This is an untouched piece of the world with beautiful beaches, crystal clear water, wonderful friendly locals and amazing hosts.
A typical day would have us waking up in a stunning location, having a freshly made coffee with local fruit, homemade granola and yoghurt with coconut nectar. Wow.
Then Gavin would take us to some beautiful spot to snorkel, then maybe go to a beach to give their dog Luna a run. She loves frisbee!
We would then come back to relax on board and all of a sudden the smell of garlic would waft back and that was lunch being prepared.
The most beautiful food you can imagine. I won't call Luciana a chef because she is better than a chef.
Chefs work to recipes. Her food is from the heart and we have not stopped thinking about it since we arrived home. She made a fish soup with fresh local ingredients that would rival the best restaurants in Paris.
Most days locals would arrive with fresh veg, coconuts, fish. Even crayfish!
Gavin took us to WW2 wrecks, jungles right off the beach, Japanese cannons,
crashed bombers, villages, deserted islands.
The whole time we were there we saw no other tourists or tourist boats.
Really was the trip of a lifetime.
Thanks you so much guys. Will be booking again soon.
