Noumea Weather in February

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me what to expect weather-wise in Noumea and surrounding islands in the first half of February? We are travelling there on a cruise ship and have been given warnings about bad weather. Now we're starting to worry that our ten day holiday will be spoiled.

February is right in the middle of the hot season, the wet season and finally the cyclones season. Which means that the temperatures are comfortable to hot (around 23°C in the morning, 29 in the afternoon), that you may encounter rain during your days here (...but as we say in French, "after rain, the sky is blue"!), and that it can be quite windy (if you avoid the possible cyclones).

But don't worry, there is very little chance that you get a rainy weather all the cruise long. :)

How did your cruise go? We are booked on one this year and I have the same misgivings. DoubleL
