Looking for a Homestay in Noumea

Hi all,

I am looking for a Homestay in Noumea to stay from 13th to 17th in the morning Feb '09. I speak only a very bit of French, however I would like to improve as much as I can during the stay.

This is a bit of my personal detail to help you to see who I am. I am 24 years old, male, Japanese and Christian. I study in Brisbane. I do not smoke. I am allegic to cats and other hairy pets. I can eat pretty much anything. I would like to try French cuisine. I have recently started making sweets like "bavarois a la vanille", however this is only the recipe at moment.

I would like to experience French Family and culture.

My email is josyaskas@hotmail.com

I will check the email as often as I enter my room. Thanks all and wish you have great week ahead!

I'm sorry I won't be able to help you, not being in New Caledonia until a few months.

If you don't get any answer, booking a room or bed at Noumea youth hostel may be a good option to consider: http://yhanoumea.lagoon.nc/en/hostel.htm . It is very clean, convenient and you'll meet interesting people there. However, book as soon as possible as it is often full.
