Ferrari World

Is it possible to see anything for free, for example the cars, or do you have to pay for the whole theme park experience (which to be honest we're not that interested in)

Absolutely nothing is free apart from walking into the lobby of the building and around the gift shop. Even if someone is not planning to go on rides they have to pay full price to enter. There are some pretty good Ferrari car displays inside.

Whilst we are not huge theme park fans we did visit Ferrari World in March this year. We thought the entrance price was reasonable even if one didn't go on any of the rides. The displays are fantastic with a huge range of wonderful cars to see and the whole set up, under one roof is amazing. You may find that once you are in there you may get swept up in the moment, as we did, and enjoy a few of the rides. You could also take the opportunity to visit the Marina Circuit and enjoy the bus ride around the island.

Thanks greatimes4ever, that is really useful. Think we'll give it a go, seems a shame to go all that way and not see those cars

We're definitely going to visit the F1 circuit, thinking of doing a driving experience as well as the tour

Ian- Books can be ordered online, or you can choose to buy select vouchers from the book ( through local websites like dubizzle or through ebay ) you need to decide whats more cost effective for you.

Each book of Entertainer Dubai has 6 BOGOF vouchers for Ferrari world and 3 for Yas waterpark.

Buy the books direct from the Entertainer (over the internet) and they will deliver the book to your hotel so no need to carry them with you (they are heavy).

First option:

If your budget permits hire a taxi or limo for the trip it will be comfortable but expensive.

Section option:

Take Dubai to Abu dhabi bus trip, once you arrive Abu Dhabi, take a local metered taxi to go to Ferrari world and same fashion while returning.

Third Option:

Dubai to Abu Dhabi bus again, and after arriving abu dhabi, another bus from Abu Dhabi bus terminal to Ferrari world, it is time consuming, but cheap.
