What is the suggested rate for tipping when in Abu Dhabi?

Tipping is not essential but is usually given for good service. For taxis I would round up to the nearest 5 Dirhams. In restaurants, 10% or more is the norm. Have a great stay!

I agree with Welshtraveller except in a restaurant where I limit the tip to 15 Dhirams. If for example you are paying for four people at a brunch a 10% tip can be a bit hefty, especially as you will also have paid a service and tourist "tax" at 16%.
