Visiting the University of Tehran

As an academic, I would be interested in visiting the University of Tehran. I heard they are policed by security guards. Is it, therefore, possible to visit as a foreigner?

Dear Academic Traveler

The security guards are not that much tough as you think. You can show your passport and get in.

It can probably be combined with a visit to the Azadi Tower, to the Mochal, and other things in North Tehran.
