Withdrawing money from ATM

I don't want to take too much cash with me on Hajj. I was planning to get money out from ATM using Visa debit card. Is this easy to do? Are instructions in Arabic only? Are there plenty of ATMs in Mecca and Medina? Thanks for help.

Yes. Plenty of ATMs all over Makkah & Madinah, the machine will automatically recognise the card is UK issued and will ask if you want to proceed in English.

You will have no problems using ATMs in Mecca and Medina and they are plentiful.

I would also take some sterling as well so you can exchange as you go along.
