I am going to spend three days in Amman and am looking for a good travel agent there.

Thanks in advance.

welcome to Jordan New Yorker.

As advised in above psot for a short 3 days stay in Amman You could do it independently

a0 you save money .

b) bounus is that if you stay at Hostel or hotel in downtown Amman share trips split cost .

c)there is more you meet like minded people and share experiences and make new friends.

These western orientated establishments have a very friendly atmosphere. cnt be found at hotels.

cheers

Hello Shadow Priest:

Thanks for your suggestion.

I will spend 4 days there as you did and want to visit Petra, Amman, Jerash and Madaba.

Any other suggestions?

Can you give me an idea of how much he charged?

If you want, you can email me wigder@aol.com.

Best,

Wigder

Hi Wigder,

Sorry for the late reply (I just saw your post). Please please please do not miss Wadi Rum!!! It was the highlight of our trip along with Petra. We saw Madaba we didn't think it was that impressive but maybe it's just us. After Wadi Rum, we stayed a few days at Aqaba to relax before we head directly to Egypt (flying from Aqaba to Cairo) to avoid the trip back to Amman.

Greetings from Amman !!

Probably three nights in Amman is a lot, it really depends on how much time you are spending in the Kingdom, Unless if you are willing to do day trips to the south. and consider Amman as base for your travellings. As our friend post number 2 mentioned that you can stay at a hotel in Down town area where these hotels arrange shared tours all over the country which is more economical than hiring your own travel Agent.

Have a good one,
