No addtional charge is levied by Nesher Sherut. The fare remains NIS 64.

Same fare, 24/7, including luggage, and you don't tip. Actually 3 a.m. is peak time at the airport. More flights arrive and depart between 3 and 6 a.m. than at any other time.

thank you for the very fast reply, don't mind another question, there are 5 of us, so it is cheaper to take Sherut over taxi?

About the same, as even assuming you get a van-style taxi, the fare for 5 at that time would be over NIS 300, If you require two taxis, the cost would be far greater. Best off taking the Nesher sherut.

A taxi at 3 a.m. from the airport to Jerusalem will cost 325 shekels (night rate). Five people paying 64 shekels each is 320 shekels, plus a small airport surcharge... There are big taxis that can hold five people plus luggage, so for just about the same cost you can take a taxi and not have to wait for another five passengers to fill the sherut (and drive all round Jerusalem dropping people off).

Go to the official taxi dispatcher just outside the arrivals terminal, and you will be put into a taxi at the official rate. Don't go with anyone who approaches you inside the arrivals hall.
