Will be visiting in late November for 6 days with 2 days during Chanukah (November 28th and 29th)n Will the Museums , stores, and sightseeing be closed during this time?

Is this a good time to visit weather wise? It will be my first visit

Chanukah is actually a nice time to visit. There are public lightings of Chanukah menorahs, sufganiyot ( jelly donuts) are sold all over the place and as you walk in neighborhoods you see everyone's private menorah. More importantly there is always all kinds of special events going on, frequently in the street and frequently no charge. If you are traveling with kids, there are all kinds of kids programs taking place in the street and in the shopping malls.
