kfar kedem

can you give me a phone contact for Kfar Kedem? Exactly where is it and how long does one need there? We are driving with four kids ages 5 to 14 from Tel Aviv to the Kfar Blum. We were thinking of driving through caesaria and stopping and then to the Marzipan Factory and then to Kfar Blum. Or should we go to Kfar Kedem? Can we do all three? Can you map a route for us to get to Kfar Blum? Any other suggestions? We have been to Gan Guru and sachyne. Thanks, Elizabeth

Kfar Kedem is located in Hoshaya, see the following link to their web site:

http://k-k.co.il/index.php?lang=en-US

They are located off of road 77 which is accessible if you are coming from the west off of the coastal road after Caesarea, getting off at Zichron Yaakov and following the signs to Tiberias.

The Marzipan factory is in Kfar Tabor and is on route 65. It is out of the way to do both on the same day after being in Caesarea.

Kfar Kedem is a great choice. Call to see when they have an opening for a tour, it's loads of fun for the entire family.

Driving directions from TA to Kfar Blum with stops. Take the coastal road (number 2) north toward Haifa and get off at Zichron onto road 71 east. After passing Yokneam (it's the only town on both sides of the road), turn right onto 722 and then left onto 77. Hoshaya is about 20 minutes ride from there on the right side of the road. From Hoshaya, turn right onto 77 and continue until the next biggest intersection called Zomet Golani (3rd light) and turn left onto 65 until the road ends at 85, turn right. The road will turn into road 90. Continue north until you reach road 977 at the Gome intersection. At first left turn onto the access road to Kfar Blum (there are signs.

Not sure which herb 'factory' you are referring to, as there are many. If you are going north, it would not be worth driving south to Kfar Tabor for the marzipan place before going north. Ask her which herb place she is referring to in order to better help you.
