canukkale - istanbul

is there a ferry to connect the two? we are visiting troy and then p[lan to go directly to istanbul. ferry seems easiest . advice please

there are -to my knowledge- no ferries between çanakkale and istanbul. there are some rumours -coming and going- about a hydrofoil to operate between the two cities but nothing has come of it as per today.

you can :

1. fly (Atlasjet flies from Çanakkale to Istanbul nearly every morning around 7.30 am. (google for atlasjet)

2. by coach : Çanakkale - istanbul : 6 hours. truva & radar are the coach companies (no english website available but tickets can be bought in many places : your hotel in çanakkale might help you on this)
