Hi there,

It's a bit further than Fort so I'd say Rs 3500. Plus in case of daytime travel Rs 300 for the E03 toll fee, saves you 30 mins.

Don't understand your other question, what other 'some hotel'?

Tnx,

In Colombo QUITE challenging, Mount has the best price/quality ratio as it's exempt from the foolish minimum rates per star that the city suffers under. If you just need to be near airport, Negombo has a lot better price/quality ratio...

All the best,

The traffic conditions should be a bit unusual on the 4th of February. Are you particular about staying at Mount Lavinia ? It's a seaside suburb south of Colombo city.

Hotels in Colombo itself are relatively expensive.

Hi again,

This one

tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g293962-d456047…

might just offer enough price/quality ratio and is a bit closer to Narahenpita and Ward Place. Janaki hotel is even closer but has a bad review status.

Wellawatte has plenty of reasonable dinner places, Narahenpita area a bit less.

All the best,

Well, one office is next to Odel - a comfortable department store - which also has a few nice food outlets for lunch.

Try check out Unique Towers, Hilton JAIC residencies and Zylan Villa. These might be a bit over 120$ - depending on the dates - but would be an ideal location for you to stay at. Lake Lodge again, not too far away from it all. Going to Ward Place during rush hour from Mount Lavinia can be a bit of a headache.

It's the Independence Day of Sri Lanka. It's a public holiday and should be traffic free in most areas
