SotongSYL....welcome to the forum.

I don't think your budget is going to stretch to a water villa on FB basis even in the relatively low cost month of December. And a seaplane transfer as well???

Some of the less costly resorts with water villas are Sheraton Full Moon, Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo, Thulagiri and Adaaran Hudhuran Fushi although the latter had quite a large fire a short while ago and I'm not sure what state the water villas are in.

I think you need to look at your budget.

Embudu is one of the cheapest budget islands with water villas but it will set you back around $350 per night and its a speedboat transfer which will cost $62 per person plus taxes.

Hi John thanks for the advice. I wasn't sure if my budget was practical when I submitted this query too. But will definitely relook at my budget.

thanks again.

cc: Heather, thanks for your recommendation too. Will check out the resort as well.
