I think you need to provide a bit more information,,,when you say flights, do yoy mean international,,sea plane transfers or both?

International flights, return, for two people will cost approx 1 k usd. Then sea planes, probably abut 800 usd return, for two, (but you can stay closer to male and get a boat, which is cheaper).

So how many nights is important, as although June is a great time to go price wise, you may be looking at the lower end of the budget resorts. And five nights versus seven nights can make a big difference.

Also, more all inclusive, do you drink alchohol? If yes, then it's a good way to do it, but if not, it's usually cheaper to pay as you go,

Lastly,,,what are you looking for.big island or small? choice of restaurants? Good reef or not so important,,,? Water sport activities? Privacy? No kids? Or just anything on budget,,,,

Hi

June is a good time price wise but not so good weather wise, as it is in the wet season.

hello froggy englnad,

thank you for ur wuick response.

i am travelling from hyderabad, india.so i mean to international flights.

and i am planning to near by male, i heard if the resort is near by male, they provide pick and drop from resot to airport.

* if the resort are good and best in location and price wise, i would increse my budget to spent on sea craft .

i am planning for 4-5nights , if 7nights trip cost same of less i prefer that ,

i am a party drinker.so dont think i will be hanging around bars for drinks while i am on my honeymoon...

i prefer less crowded(if no kids are allowed that would be great.) resorts and spa and watersports and much scenic beauty is preferable.

over all i am not a rich person and as well i want to spend some of my savings to make my first trip of married life memorable.

i am looking around following proices , i am just cutting down all the individual prices as i am assuming.

1000(flights)+ 1500-2000 for both(all inclusive) + rest is our own shopping ==

so it comes to 2500- 3000 USD + some miscellaneous or shopping..

please advice ur recommendations

is you know any travel consultants pls forward to me.!

Purely Maldives as Darryl suggests is the travel agent most recommended on here, so contact them to see what you can get in budget, they deal with a global clientele, know what they are talking about and pricing is seemingly good.

All resorts provide collection, it's simply sea plane is more expensive. If you do boat, you might get something really quite decent in budget.

Email purely maldives and come back to the forum and with your options, but I think you might get some good ones, from kurumba which Is very close to male, to komandoo ( adults only) or reethi beach ( mid rage but much loved).

Only komandoo is adults only, but as less than five percent of tourist visitors are 18 years old or less, personally I would not worry too much, unless you really dont want to see any children at all.

Drinks, are very expensive in the Maldives, think 5 usd for a soft drink or beer and ten for a cocktail or glass of wine. Once you pick your resort, you can do the math in terms of what board basis is best for you, based on your personal consumption habits.

Thanks to darryl and froogy for the information about purelymaldives. Didn't know they operate worldwide. As having Zitahli and Veligandu of my final short-list now and it's that hard to decide - love both of them - maybe they can offer 6/7 days on Zitahli and then 6/7 days on Veligandu. That would be perfect. Not sure if that would be a lot more expensive than booking with TUI or Kuoni Austria. But I'll ask. And as its recommended often here on this platform I think one can trust them.

Hi subbubujji,

1. If you don't have direct flights from Hyderabad, try taking a stopover at Kochi.

Spice jet flights from COK to MLE (Male ) are just Rs, 5000 INR pp.

2. Try choosing resorts which provide speed boat transfers as it reduces the expenses and you can utilize the money to book a premium room.

3. Go only fb or all inclusive, but some island's all inc are not that fab, take a look at those.

4. Put your room (beach bung, water villa etc), diving/snorkelling, reef preferences here and then we can proceed.

I went to Maldives Baa Atoll in end of June and I had good weather during diving and island hopping. I only got 1 thunderstorm at night and the wind is really strong. The price and cost is really depending on which resort you are staying. If you are on budget then don’t choose a 5 star resort and maybe lower down the beautiful expectation. Cheers!!!

Many good replies above, I am also scheduled to travel June end for 3 nights and 4 days. I have booked Spicejet's flight from Kochi on goibibo.com, got a very good deal.

For resorts check resorts closer to the airport so that you dont end of spending more on the airport transfer. For best rates you can contact - http://www.maldivestourister.com/ , they provide amazing rates on most of the resorts.

Your budget is good and if you book the above

1) Spicejet

2) Maldives tourister

you would have enough left to spend on other activities at Maldives.

Hope this helps !!
