Do you guys think this schedule is doable? I'm not sure about Taman Negara NP yet, because we also see the jungle in Borneo. Is it more of the same of should we see both jungles?

Has anyone climbed Mount Kinabalu bye the way? could fit this in maybe. Please let me know.

Kr,

Menno

The period of travel is March or April next year.

Yes, but it will be busy, so lots of travelling and not a huge amount of time for seeing and enjoying!

It is a lot of travelling. You will spend a lot of time sitting in Airports and in busses and taxis. As Mitch says you will not have much time for sight seeing and I think you will get very tired.

Hi, thanks for your replies. It's a busy schedule indeed. Maybe I was a bit too enthousiastic:-)

What places would you suggest to skipp...Taman Negara NP and Mabul islands for example ?

That would give the schedule some space(4-5 days)

Hi,

Maybe it's too much indeed. What would you suggest to do in 23 days? We are interested in Nature/ jungle, seeing the Orang Utans, culture and cities like Kuala Lumpur and Penang.

Regarding Borneo We could also focus on Sabah and not visit Sarawak (go there some other time)

In that case, we could spend like 10-12 days in Sabab, and another 10 days in West Malaysia).

Also I'm thinking what route would be best, visit Borneo first and then head to West Malaysia, or start on West Malaysia ? We are will be flying in to Singapore from NL.

Any suggestions are welcome.
