From Danang what route should i take?

Will it mean passing thru Cambodia??

no on going thru Cambodia

Danang to Savannaket [Laos] then on to Vientiane??????

Yes Danang-Dong Ha- Lao Bao (border) Savannakhet-Vientiane is the most obvious route. There are buses that do the full trip from Danang-Vientiane, but I would suggest breaking the trip in Savannakhet.

Thank you that's great info for bus times & costs

Be in Vietnam April and intend to do a different

trip to Bangkok than previous two trips in SEA

Last time in Laos I crossed Mekong from Chiang Khong and got Laos visa very easy

so hope still the same
