I would like to extend my visa for another month. I have found information on options for doing this but none of it is current, so I was hoping someone could let me know if it is accurate.
It sounds like there are two options:
Go to the immigration office and pay $2 for each day you want to extend your stay up to two months; or cross over the Friendship Bridge into Nong Khai and then return, getting another Visa on Arrival for $35 USD.
If this is how it is, perhaps I'll take a trip to over the Friendship Bridge, just for the experience, since it has the bonus of being less expensive.
Also, On the sign I saw for visa on arrival when arriving at the airport, I only remember dollar amounts being listed, with no Kip equivalent included as an option. I'm assuming paying in KIP isn't a Problem?Edited: 11:49 pm, April 01, 2012
