Flight connection time

I arrive VTE at 15.15 on a Saturday off Air Asia and need to catch flight to LPQ at 16.30. Does any one know if I would have time to connect given that I will need to get visa on arrival etc. (I will have hand baggage only) Thanks for any help!

I'd say you'll have plenty of time - it's not like Vte airport is incredibly busy or anything. VOA takes little time at all and you don't have to wait for bags. Domestic terminal is right next door (literally)

Depends on how many people are getting a visa on arrival. You are cutting it a bit fine.

Its enough time assuming the airasia flight is on time, and that you can get off the plane and into filling out the visa form before the rest. If you are at the back of the visa queue it can take 30 minutes to be processed.

Getting to the front of the visa queue is the key really - maybe you can reserve a seat by the front door - I know airasia have that online seat booking facility for an extra $10 or so.

It is a bit tight.

I fully agree with bluecramp, the key issue is to be among the 1st one to go out of plane and to be in front of queue for visa. In such case, you will have enough time to catch your flight to Luang Prabang assuming that your flight with AirAsia does not have delay.

Otherwise, you will miss it !

Thanks all for your very helpful advice and info. I have reserved front row seats on Air Asia as advised for a quick get out and to the front of the Immigration queue. Now just have to hope Air Asia are on time! Thanks again everyone.
