Taxi/tuk-tuk from Hue train station

Are taxis or tuk-tuks (or the Hue equivalent) readily available at the train station to go into town? How much should i expect to pay? Thanks

Andy there are no tuk-tuks in Hue, nor in most places in Vietnam. The closest equivalent is a xe om (motorbike taxi), but the station is very near to the main tourist area and if you book a hotel before your arrival a free (or dirt cheap) pick-up from the station is likely to be included in the price - just ask when booking.

There isn't tuk tuk in Hue city. You can go by cyclo or taxi in Hue city. The distance between beauty spots is not very long, so you can be easy to reach!

Have a good trip!

When you walk out of the station dozens of taxi drivers will be waiting. If your hotel does not offer free pick up, go with Mai Linh taxis ( they are green) and make sure the driver uses the meter- it will be a few dollars (depending on where you are going).

Hue train station is in city centre. It is about 2 km from here to hotels in centre. Taxi is at the exit gate of station and it is easy for you to get on.

Nice time
