Dress as King & Queen - dinner in Hue?

We have heard that there is a place/restaurant in Hue that hosts a Royal Dinner.

In particuar we have heard that you get to dress as Kings and Queens in traditional outfits and the locals put on a spectacular show of singing and dancing.

Has anyone heard of this or could point us to some information

Thanks in advance

The Siagon Morin does a huge buffet of trditional Hue food with local culture music and dancing, but we didn't see anyone dressing up. To be honest, for the price it wasn't all that, and the food was really only what I would call "adequate". The cultural part was the best thing. And don't let them pour you a beer, unless you like a beer that is 80% head! The waiters seem to think it's the right thing to pour from about a metre above the glass, resulting in much foam and little beer.

Have to agree with York on the food at the buffet in the Saigon Morin. It wasn't too special but the musicians were true artisans.

Not dressing as a King or Queen, but eating as a King or Queen - the Vuon Y Thao restaurant on western edge of citadel.Set menu, many courses, fabulous presentation of food, delicious and only U$10 per head. Highly recommend. Don't eat for some hours beforehand. Make a booking through hotel and enjoy a cyclo or moto ride there/back. Magnificent.
