Temples near HCMC

We are 3 adults travelling for pleasure to HCMC/Con Dao 2/1 - 2/15. Can someone recommend an accessible temple to visit? Any other must-see attractions?

Hi RCAustin,

First of all, check it yourselves with the link below:

A must-see place that most of visitors did in HCMC is Cu Chi Tunnels. See if this is your cup of tea.

Plenty of temples about. Walk along Pham Ngu Lao Street away from Ben Thanh market, cross the roundabout at the end and there is a fairly large temple there on the right. flickr.com/photos/… . Another couple that come to mind hide out in District 5 (Chinatown). flickr.com/photos/bertie_is_here/5322417109/ & flickr.com/photos/… Cao Dai is a much visited one. A large temple exists at Lac Canh Dai Nam, Van Hien Tourist Park, about an hour out of HCMC in the theme park grounds flickr.com/photos/… . Indeed you could just ask at your hotel as there really are hundreds around. All readily accessible. And you'd be getting in with the locals too.
