We will be in Saigon, but we have our own driver. Any tours you can join once you arrive at the tunnels?
If you have your own driver and do not want to book the tour via any travel agencies.
- The first suggestion is to drive directly to Cu Chi Tunnels, buy the ticket(s). There will be a local guide who will take you to visit inside.
- Secondly, if you need someone to share some general story of history, life, etc. It would be better to find some decent guide in Saigon via the Internet.
Please noted that there are two sites of Cu Chi Tunnels, which knows as Ben Dinh and Ben Duoc. Ben Duoc is less touristy than the first one.

At the Ben Dinh site, you can choose to pay extra to fire weapons.
With just 2 hours driving from Saigon to experience one of the trip highlights with an exciting experience of the Cu Chi tunnels – an immense network of connecting underground tunnels used by Vietnamese Revolutionary army during the anti-American resistance war with over 200km long and 12m deep. The tunnels served as hiding spots, communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches and living quarters for numerous North Vietnamese fighters. You will be well guided to discover this amazing tunnel with unforgettable feelings.
