Sewing Centres

We are visiting Ho Chi Minh City in March. My wife is a amateur sewer. Are there any sewing, Embroidery or Fabric centers she could visit?

Hi Theduck,

There are schools to teach people who want to be tailors or who want to sew. Women Cultural House in Ly Chinh Thang Street District 3 has sewing courses.

There are factories making clothes to export or to sell in Vietnam.

Fabric center may be Soai Kinh Lam fabric wholesales market in District 5, China Town. Ben Thanh Market or any market also has fabric section and materials are selected and nicer.

I don't know about embroidery center. I only saw XQ Dalat had their all hand made embroidered pictures of people, flower, nature..... exhibited in a Hotel Equatorial lobby and I saw their shop opposite New World Hotel in District 1.
