HCM Mausoleum- cameras and bags not allowed.

I read that cameras and bags are not allowed when viewing HCM body. Where can we securely leave our things? If we're on a tour group, issit safe to leave with the guide? What if we're going on our own on a taxi?

Hi, We did this visit last summer. You pass through a kiosk as you move along the queue (which looks long and quite daunting a wait but moves very fast and is very organised) and you must leave all things there. It is very secure, always has guards at it and you are given a ticket to identify your things.

Hope this helps x

Hi bedazzle,

You check your bags / camera in the same way at the military museum as well in Dien Bien Phu Street---this street takes you to Uncle Ho's resting place and the West Lake area, which is a very pleasant place to walk!---entry to museum is 20,000VND---cannot remember HCM entry cost!

plover

p.s ---all quite safe---guarded by army staff!

Hi Bedazzle,

if you are on a tour group, mostly guide bring camera, bags, ect..for yo and for the others. Because when you send at the kiosk near the way you queue, After visiting Ho CHi Minh' body, you have to come back firsat place to take them. Otherwise, you could not take any photos inside Ho Chi Minh Complex. I think it is good tip for you when you ask guide help you.

If you are on your own on a taxi, the best way you should send at the kiosk, then you finish all complex, the way you go out, you can come back to take those. Making sure that that keep your camera, bags very carefully and well organized

Please note that All Visitors are now required At All Times to wear long trousers(ie below the kneels) and shirt/blouses that cover their shoulders whilst visit Ho Chi Minh 's body.

Cheers,
