Looking for a small hotel in the Pattaya area

Traveling to Pattaya for 4-5 days and looking for a small hotel on the beach that's not to expensive but clean.

Any help and ideas would be appreciated

What price do you want to pay per night? There are many older posts that have hotel recommendations with A/C and private bathroom from 600 baht to over 3000 baht per night. Search choice will give you some. (Some tourists think only paying 3000 baht is not too expensive!)

In the Pattaya City area There are not too many hotels right on the beach - near the beach - yes! Also tourists do not swim at Pattaya Beach! They shop, visit malls, nightlife, restaurants, etc. Some cheap hotels have pools.

Map of Pattaya City shows some hotels. Most of the malls, restaurants, nightlife, street vendors, supermarkets and many hotels are on or near Pattaya Sai Song and Pattaya Beach Road.

Try Bangsaray, a small fishing village 20 mins South down the road. Can travel to/from Pattaya for 20 baht on bus. Some Ex-pat and tourists, no money exchange or walking street, just friendly people and good seafood. try "Bangsaray village resort"

IdahoPilot. Do you really need a hotel that has its own beach? Or is a cheap hotel NEAR a beach area is okay? Is a hotel pool okay if you need to get wet? (Keeping in mind that most tourists do not actually swim at Pattaya Beach.)

Sea Me Spring Hotel. On Soi 10. Walk to beach area in a minute. Use hotel pool.

Unless you need something cheaper. Basic hotel room with A/C and private toilet starts around 600 baht right now. Narrow down WHERE in Pattaya you need a hotel room. When you show up affects your room price.
