Has this just come into force? I was there untill the 28th of December & there was certainly no ban then.

The smoking ban is nationwide and mainly restricted to air conditioned venues.

Open air restaurants and bars will need to setup non-smoking areas.

They expect to start the ban somewhere end of february.

Ive just been on Walking Street to a few bars and an indoor air conditioned gogo bar smoked in all of them (March 1st). They don't seem to be bothered by it. Though there are 20,000 bars here so Ive not been to them all.
