Help with Accomodation

Hi Everyone,

We are two couples travelling to Samui in the second week of march. We are looking for accommodation with the following requirements.

- Room with great view

- Preferably two bedroom (two single bedrooms will do)

- A jacuzzi on the balcony

- Nightly budget of 5000 THB for one room

We would prefer something luxurious if possible in the price range mentioned. Any recommendations on the property that might fit the bill.

Thanks & Regards,

Rishi

Hi

With All due to respect your budget and what you're after dose not really match. To get everything you're mentioned it will cost you more than 3x or 4x of your intended budget afraid.

There are some beach front resort with some good views of the ocean but no jacuzzi nor luxury as such.

The best place to start is check it out on the left hand side of this page on koh Samui hotel or the web agent the like of www.sawadee.com/ booking.com/ Expedia.com/

Good luck

Thanks sweetpea. I was wondering the same thing. I have however come across a few places like KC Resort, Shasha, Infinity Residences which seem to fit the bill. Any opinions???

Hi

You may want to read this recent thread tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g676072-d1425… and I agree with Pea, think you struggle with the budget!

Have you looked a the reviews on TA for some assistance . .

tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g676072-d1425…

tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g293918-d1159…

tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g293918-d2436…

Whilst these hotels advertise at around your budget in reality, you will find that they won't be when you key in your dates, sad but that is how these more luxurious rooms are.

good luck in your search!

The review all of them seems very good. However Shasa and the infinty locations are not be best if you're after party and actions as both are out of the way. You will have to rely on the taxi or some sorts of shuttle arrangement. Taxi on the island is not cheap especially late at night / early morning when the clubs and bars closed time. From all the one you're mentions KC over the water would be my choice if it has to be only these 3 choices. KC over the water its in the north of chweng on the hillside but great views.

I think if you're not stick to your criteria there are a few might suite you with that budget and close to shops bar and restaurants ( if this is what you're after). Then perhaps checkout Samui resotel, they have ocean front villas with private pool and ocean views room pool access. Maybe worth to check it out. This reosrt might not come in luxury category but its on one of the best beach south chaweng with walking distance to all amenity.

Check out Sandalwood Villas. We are staying in the Jumpee Villa in March, complete with jacuzzi on the deck. Not too far over your budget if you want to splurge.

Take a look at villa la perla , fishermans village, bophut. We are in the one bedroom pool suite at the moment but it is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, no jacuzzi but a plunge pool outside the patio doors. It is slightly over budget but not a lot at 5500. We weren't supposed to be staying here, we had booked for smile house but after a night of sleeplessness due to a fan in building at the back of room 102 we had to look for quiter accommodation. We are overlooking.the beach and bophut pier is about 20 yards to the left. This realy is a gem of a place which has taken a disappointing never coming again holiday to a when can we book for the next time and we still have 12 nights left www.grandvillalepela.com forgot to add they also have wifi

Cheers

Pete
