tonic water/duty free restrictions

Can you buy tonic water at local stores in Samui?

We'll be picking our luggage up in Bkk as not on a through ticket. Can you buy liquor at Bkk apt to take to Samui?

Thanks

You can buy everything on Samui. Alcohol is not cheap there but available in many stores and wholesalers who sell by the bottle.

Tonic water, usually Schweppes is widely available in cans and bottles.Gin and vodka from the Philippines are sold for less than £5.00 and are quite drinkable for the period of a holiday.Don't be tempted to take any home with you it will taste foul in the U.K.
