Rent a villa on Koh Samui

Hi all,

we are planning to rent a villa instead of staying in a hotel for our summer holiday. Never been to Samui so anyone would recommend something as there are a lot?

Thanks

We recently got back from Samui and I wrote a review on the place we stayed; Thai House Beach Resort.

You can go to my profile and find my review, with photos.

Hope this helps.

Hi Franck,

Villa Tanamera is a Villa / Apart Hotel on the beach so you have the privacy of the private villa with the added luxury of housekeeping and linins etc. I stayed over Christmas with my family as was actually their first guest. I was extremely happy with the villa, the location and the staff who could not do enough to help... they even went to the supermarket for us (10% service charge). They do have a website now (this was not complete when I was there) www.villatanamera.com

Good luck..

there are loads of villas on private Samui, all depending on your budget and what you are looking for as as service and privacy.

tanamera is good and like an estate with a shared pool. I you look for something more private (but will be dearer) and exclusive with private pool and staff see samuivillasandhomes.com, in a different style see coco villas.

One thing you can't beat the beach villas, it's like having your own for a while!

Best

Thank you all. Would prefer a more private environment as looking for quality with my family as working too much ... will get back to you on feed back.

We booked our xmas vaccation due to the web site, and nice e-mail contact with

the "resort". We felt asured by the pictures and mail dialogue with the people

at the resort. The web site signaled true paradise and a wounderful experince.

When we came, we were driven to our villa. All looked well on the outside, but

the house was in a bad condition. Ex, only cold water, electricity on and of,

doors that could not get closed and so on. But we could have lived with that.

The true problem was the construction woork going on, both at the resort and

the next door property. It was impossible to communicate due to severe noise

and the amount of people working, almost at our doorstep. They were working

form 8-8, all days, also during the holydays.

The resort had little of what you could expect at this price range, and there

was almost no other people there. We learned that most of the guest left after

a few days, unable to have a vaccation under those circumstances. I found a

site at the net, created in january, where the purpose is to tell about the

place. The creater calls it coco samui villas ripp off. For futher info, look

at this sit.
