You're on a pretty tight budget but you could try Baan Lansa. We haven't stayed in the guest house but have eaten in their lovely garden restaurant a few times and really enjoyed the atmosphere. It gets good reviews and is in the right budget range.

I agree you will find it hard.....this is because land in the central part is very expensive.

If you are prepared to increase your budget...Than I would highly recommend Koko Palms .It would be about 45 USD per night. There is only 8 rooms that face a central court yard, with Palms and ponds

It is run by a couple and he is an Architect.

Emjaty you would be better quoting in the local currency of baht. Saying $30 doesn't mean a lot when you have Aust, NZ, Americans, Canadians etc who all use the dollar but it has different values in Thailand.

I agree with diinaus, that it is easiest to refer to prices in baht, because there are also Singapore and Hong Kong dollars, as well as the Aussie, New Zealand, Canadian and of course USA, and all have conpletely different values when changed to Thai currency. Easier for others to help you if you quote budget in baht since we do not know what country you are from or what kind of dollars you will be using.
