Affordable but clean and reliable airport hotel

Can anyone recommend an affordable, clean hotel for a one night layover. I want to be close with a reliable shuttle. I had one booked but read many reviews that shuttle never came..

Hi,

The Grand Pinnacle has been reliable for us in the past:

There are many others:

Do you mean Suvarnabhumi or Don Muang airport?

What is an affordable price for you for one night?

From either airport meter taxis are available 24 hours a day. From Suvarnabhumi there is even rail service that can take you to hotels near Airport Rail Link stations. Assuming your arrival flight and departing flight are at the same airport, what time is your departing flight?

Thank you for your replies.

Affordable is under $80? I don't want to pay $300 for Novotel when you can get decent places in Thailand for much less. I know there are taxis but prefer an included shuttle.

I have looked at booking.com etc but wanted someone who had a good experience that could recommend. I found many reviews saying shuttle never came etc

Thank you

Hi,

My suggestion earlier is much less than $80, I have never had any issues with the shuttle service either.

I gave you one that I stay at and the other one that Andy stays at.

Both are reliable.

Orchid is about 1000 baht including shuttle

If you arrive at SUVARNABHUMI the Airport Rail Link runs from around 6 a.m. to midnight. About 40 baht to get to Rathaprorop Rail Link station where you can walk to several hotels. If your hours work out okay you can use the same Rail Link to go back to SUVARNABHUMI.

What shuttle are you writing about? If you pay for a hotel to provide the taxi ride the cost is usually more than a taxi ride. (In Bangkok even a 600 baht hotel can have A/C and private bathroom.)

* There are hundreds and hundreds of posts for taxi service from both airports. Use the forum search option and read some of the posts on how to use taxis.

Baiyoke Boutique Hotel is near Ratchaprorop Rail Link Station.
