    New Years Day

    We will be arriving in Bangkok airport at 0630 on New Years Day. Does anyone forsee any problems with arriving in Bangkok at this time of this day with the previous night New Years Eve celebrations probably just ending. Take it there will still be taxis at the airport to take us to Sheraton Grande ?

    As we only have 2 nights in Bangkok we would like t do as much as possible on New Years Day. MBK, Patpong night markertand maybe even the Palace - will all these and the restaurants/bars be open as normal on New Years Day.

    Will the traffic be lighter than normal ?

    Any help appreciated !!

    Yeap you'll still ge t taxi's that will take you to Sheraton. Not all will be open, but defintetly some and yes the traffic will be gone:)
