Which hotel in Bangkok

Please , we need help from the experts to recommend a Bangkok hotel for one night .

We will be leaving the Hilton Hua Hin on a Sunday morning at 10.00hrs by taxi to spend one night in Bangkok .

Our flight from Suvarnabhumi leaves for London on Monday morning at 11.15hs .

We would like a hotel that would be easily accessible from Hua Hin and also for a taxi the following morning to the airport .

For comfort we prefer a 3/4 or 5 star hotel , with a pool , but most important within walking distance of a good choice of bars ,.also are any of the Bangkok Hilton's suitable .

Any recommendations would be gratefully appreciated .

Sukhumvit Nana or Asoke area. You can use the Skytrain too.

Forum search will give you quite a few hotel selections.

Landmark, Grand Center Point at Terminal 21, Amari Boulevard Hotel, SilQ and Sheraton are a few.

Any hotels in Sukhumvit would suit if you want to be near bars, check out www.asiatravel www.sawadee.com and this price comparison website www.hotelscombined.com to see what's available for your dates and budget.

Landmark Hotel Sukhumvit would be my first choice or if you like the brand there is a JW Marriott in Sukhumvit Soi 2, both are very convenient for bars and restaurants etc and neither is too far from a sky train station with the Landmark very close indeed to Nana Sky Train Station.

I would suggest the Conrad on wireless road. We stayed there a few times and have always had a great stay. Good range of excellent restaurants, close to the expressway for the airport and part of the Hilton group.

I would also recommend The Amari Boulevard or The Landmark Hotel..

Both good locations for the Skytrain and lots of Bars in that area too..
