Hi,

Has anyone used this hotel AND used the in room internet connection?

If you have what if anything did it cost per ????

I can't comment on the Bel-Aire Princess, but there's lots of free wifi in the area in cafés, bars and the lobbies and coffee shops of big hotels (eg Landmark).

Cheaper hotels may have wifi free in the lobby. Never been to this hotel but there are lots of cheap internet shops not far from your hotel.

McDonalds and some other cafes have free internet, just buy a coffee and nurse it for an hour or so.

There are so many internet shops in Thailand you won't need to carry a laptop with you unless you need it for business, gambling, downloading photos or personal porno.

Internet shops in Bangkok will charge somewhere between .5 baht on up to around 2 baht in fancy - yuppie type "net cafes!

Figure on an average of 1 baht per minute for ordinary internet shops.

Fancy hotels may charge more because they can!

Good luck.

hello,

I was staying at the bel aire princess hotel last week.

The price is 100 baht for 20 minutes or 150 baht for 30 mins, and 20 baht per page to print.

They only have 2 computers in the reception/foyer area (not sure if they have a business centre)

There is a new modern internet cafe about 2 minutes walk down the road towards the main road, on the same side as the bel-aire. It is cool, with big red leather chairs and massive computer screens. This place is relatively cheaper than the hotel.

Probably too late now, but a cheaper hotel with wifi in the room is the MAXIM.

Stole the link from another post.

There is always the final night in Bangkok.

Good luck.
