Not to sure but some booze in Thailand is quite heavily taxed. Really does depend on what you want.

Just beware that you should not buy ant liquid duty free at Manchester as you may not be allowed to take them on the Dubai/Bangkok leg due to the current liquid regulations.

You may want to check the prices on your flight as well - Bangkok Duty free is often not cheap as they run in USD. Dubai may be your best bet but the problem is having to lug the stuff everywhere and when you go back home the booze will add to your weight so may be better to wait until you get home and buy before leaving customs.

HAve a great stay in Thailand!

'Booze' doesn't give enough information.

A lot of alcoholic drinks would be best bought in a supermarket in Thailand rather than in a high profile duty free shop in an airport.

But it depends what you're wanting to buy.

Imported stuff is often expensive, but there are some tasty scotch whisky blends sold here for as little as 180 baht.
