Recommended Unli Data for days

Hi Good Day!,

Just want to ask what is the recommended provider with unli data or a good data package while in Bangkok ? I'll be staying in the city for 8 days. I'll just be mostly doing internet searches, FB and possibly pokemon go :)

Is Unli a Philipino word?

Do you mean unlimited?

Yes, unlimited data. Sorry for using a local word.

All Thai data packages are unlimited but they drop the access speed down to something very slow after the advertised quota is reached.

In Bangkok it does not matter which provider you use (AIS, DTAC, TRUE). You might as well pick the operator kiosk with the shortest queue.

The cheapest (299 baht) tourist/traveller SIM packages offer the data package for 7 days after which they start charging for data from your topped up credit. If you want to avoid worries you either switch off data for the last day or buy the more expensive one (599 baht) with a 15-day data package.

If you want to finesse it, get DTAC Super 4G SIM (49 baht) https:/… top up 160 baht, and use the dial codes to first order 7 days of data and then 24 hours once the week is over. That gives you an average of 350 MB of fast data for each day.
