Where to stay - Family

Hi - apologies if this has been covered recently but looking for a hotel for 2 adults and a three year old. We will be first time visitors to Thailand and looking for some guidance and recommendations please. We are not looking for hotels specifically for children's clubs as we will not use these during our stay. We are thinking of going around the first two weeks in October this year. Thank you

Where did you want to visit ?

It is a large country with cities towns, inland locations, beaches, islands, so before anyone can suggest and hotels we need to know where you are visitng.

If you haven't decided give us what you have thought of so far and then tell us how you want to enjoy your days and evenings, things you would like to see and do

Thank you, unsure of where to stay but would like to be on the beach, 5 star. Typically during the day is very lazy by the pool/beach...near good restaurants with choice and to be able to take a couple of days out to explore. We do not need big nightlife with a 3 year old but enjoy having a little wander and not having to stay exclusively in a hotel. Would prefer to avoid Bangkok. Thank you so much.

Hi, October is weatherwise the wettest month in Thailand so you should bear this in mind, I think if you don't want to visit Bangkok then I would stay a few days in Chiang Mai, then head South but you need to do more research to see which coast would suit your family better.
