Visum India in KTM?

Any thoughts on whether it's easy to get a business visum for India while in KTM? Or better be done at home in Europe (€ 155 in Germany).

Well there won't be much price difference. Indian visa fees worldwide are determined by the nationality of the applicant, not the location; only the handling fee can be a bit less than at home.

An Indian tourist visa from Colombo (other neighbour) is as easy or difficult to get as from Germany/Holland, though the extra barreer is always that their first question is 'Why did you not apply in your home country, because that is what you should have done? Please give valid reason why you do it here and now'. But there are quite a few valid/legal reasons, e.g. the strange fact that Indian visa validity always starts at issue date hence e.g. 1-year world travellers can't apply for an Indian visa from their home country as it would have expired once they reach India!

So hopefully for you it's same in KTM and same for business visa, but you'll hardly gain financially...

All the best,
