This is my first ever review I post to share my experience.
I just came back from Bhutan yesterday (20/04/15). It was my birthday and I wanted to celebrate it somewhere different. I picked Bhutan because of the weather and it isn't that far fdom Bangkok, where I'm from. I came to know about Heavenly Bhutan through Tripadvisor. My sister and I are regular trvellers and normally do bagpacking trips and plan everything ourselves but because our parents (in their 60s) would be joining this trip so we had to plan differently and choose the tour operator wisely.
I picked a few operators at first and by e-mail correspondence, I decided to chose Heavenly Bhutan.
Raju was the one who always reply to my e-mails. I didn't have much time to plan and time was ticking (2 weeks prior to the travel date) so I always asked lots of question at once and he could always managed to answer all my questions. I told him exactly what I want; combined itinerary, preferred hotels, before we finalized the itinerary.
We went on a 5-day tour, 16-20/04/15, Paro, Thimphu and Punakha. Our guide, Tek, was an experience, informative, fun and with a sense of humor guy. We were very happy to have him as he welcomed us to his country of happiness.
During the hike to Tango and Tiger's Nest, my mom, who is unfit, had difficult times and Tek was a great help for her. I couldn't thank him enough for this.
On the last night of our trip, Heavenly Bhutan surprised me with a birthday cake and small gifts from Bhutan, I couldn't remember the last time I blew birthday candles and was very thrilled by them. I happily turned 32 in this Kingdom of Happiness. Thank you Raju, Tek and Heavenly Bhutan team for your patience, professionalism and making my family trip memorable. You went beyond my expectations.
