18 hour layover in Lagos

I have an 18 hour layover in Lagos. I'd really want to visit Cotonou and Lome. Or maybe Cotonou and Abomey. Would I have any time?

given traffic and border issues, going by road even to Cotonou is pretty borderline in that time. On a Sunday you could possibly make it and have maybe 2 or 3 hours in Cotonou

There are several jet charter companies at Lagos where you could arrange to be flown directly. That should work, Check arikair.com/uk/…Charter.aspx

Thought I had mentioned Cotonou? Literally, unless you fly there you will be pushing your luck even on a Sunday. Traffic is a nightmare usually and the border crossing unpredictable.
