Absolutely beautiful photographs! thank you so much for sharing them on TA, it allowed me to escape reality for a few minutes ...stunning!
Apparently you have to be signed in on Google or Google +. Those that are not need a password when they hit the link. No big deal.
Wow! What absolutely stunning photographs!. Thank you for sharing them. We can't wait for our trip & your pictures are a great preview.
Hmmm, sorry about that Seattleflyer. I have used Picasa Webalbums for ages and then when this Google plus thing came out it really confused me! I do have friends who don't have google plus accounts who seem to be able to see them (unless they are just *saying* they looked at my photos......:) ).
Thanks caviar, and tkdbb I hope you have a fabulous time! I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.
Thanks for the advise, I will try the stitching with a few pictures the next time I'm in the bush!
That's the advantage you have when you live in Namibia, you can drive one to hours and your in the bush with great opportunities. Sadly the work also keeps me more in the office than I would like!

Amazing pics -- thanks for sharing!
Beautiful pictures, love the Panoramic ones as well :-)
I would completely agree about the 300mm on a cropped frame being perfect. I have a full frame and cropped frame and use the 70-300 on the cropped frame.
i read that you drove up the skeleton coast ? how far was the first wreck from swakopmund ? do yuo recall its name ?
We drove south down the coast from Swakopmund so I'm not sure which wreck is the closest to there. They are signposted as you drive along. Maybe one of the experts here might be able to help??
We drove up from Swakopmund and into the park, we asked the guard at the gate and I think it was only about 20mins I hope these links to photos work..
The 20 mins was nothing the long drive up and down took hours! But we wanted to do it we knew it would be a long drive with similar scenery the whole way but my husband wanted to go and see a wreck on Skeleton Coast so we did.
